Janet joined FCWFS in February of 2016. She is a Social Worker by education and training and has worked for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and the Senior Companion Program of the Blue Grass Community Action Partnership. She enjoyed homeschooling her children until high school while working part-time as an oral historian on independent oral history projects and with those funded by the KY Oral History Association. Janet has been married to her husband, Bob for over 37 years and has two adult children, 37 and 33 years of age and one precious granddaughter born 11/2023. She strives to live a purpose driven life and enjoys exploring the natural world around us, music, meeting new people, hiking, camping, time at the beach, reading, and traveling to visit her family and friends!
